A good week

We made our debut at the Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom Sat Mar 10 – unfortunately England lost rugby which didn’t help but burgers and kebabs were consumed and went down very well as did the Gipsy Hill beer.  We are back there tomorrow and for another three Saturday’s.

We have secured a couple of new venues – The Limes – Merstham  on Sat Apr 14th from 1.30pm while the Grand National is on and also The Garibaldi – Redhill for Thur Mar 29th for their next quiz nite and then Fri Apr 13th.  At all these we will be serving our kebabs and our Wild Boar & Venison burgers so hope to see many of you then and meet some new faces.

We have also secured a spot for the Worthing Food Festival 15-16 September which is a great event.

Lockdown has obviously been a pain for everybody – all our events have been cancelled from end March thru most of July & August so we have had to offer an alternative takeaway service from home on Friday & Saturday nights.

This has proved so popular that we aim to keep offering this on these nights when other outside bookings allow. The support from our local community has been wonderful.

Our first blog

We have been trading since January 2018 and it has been cold every time we were out.  We have been at the Friday market at Redhill and the Saturday market at Horsham.  We have had a couple of good Sundays at Epsom Farmers Market(1st Sunday of each month) and we will be visiting Walton Farmers Market (1st Saturday of each month) on April 7th.  We are very grateful for the help of Andy of Surrey Markets in getting us established here.

We also have a regular Friday night pitch outside Prince of Wales, Holmesdale Road, Reigate serving our kebabs both to the pub regulars but also to the locals and commuters.  The pub serves a lovely pint of Shepherd Neame bitter and welcomes all kebab eaters into the pub.  They encourage several other Streetfood vendors on other evening of the week for which we are all grateful.

We will be at the  YMCA Fun Run in Reigate on Sunday May 6th serving our kebabs plus our new offerings of Wild Boar & Venison burgers. We will also have a licenced bar that day so hope you will try us out.

Another big event coming up in May is our 3 day cooking marathon at The Sussex Street Food Festival from Fri May 18 – Sun May 20. We will be cooking every day from noon – 10pm.  It promises to be a very busy and enjoyable weekend.

We will be at the monthly Lewes Food Festival on the 2nd Sunday of each month from Apr – Dec 2018 offering food and from July – Oct we will be operating our licenced bar.
